Brunch of Burj Al Arab

We learned that Burj means tower, so the name of the Burj Al Arab is The (Al) Arab Tower (Burj). We have brunch there today... one of those once in a life time kind of things. It was very expensive at about $400 US for the family.

I was a little disappointed with the hotel decor, don't get my wrong, it's gorgous but I still expected more... being 7 star and all, but I suppose that has more to do with service. Each room has its own butler, each floor has a concierge, etc. Pretty swanky. Plus you can't just walk into the hotel. It's out on an island and has only one road to it with a gate and several guards. You have to have a reservation to get in.
