Omani Cemeteries

We checked out a couple of cemeteries while in Oman. When I got home I read about their burial rituals. Muslims must be buried within a day of death, they are wrapped in cloth and placed in a wooden box and then buried. The cemeteries are very interesting. Head stones are rocks placed upright. Sometimes stones are placed around the grave as well.
