Spring Break in Italy - Day 1&2 Rome

Our tour of Italy begins in Rome. We flew from Dubai to Rome and landed in the afternoon. When we arrived we took the train to our hotel then walked to the colosseum and forum area. We were surprised at the lines. We head read ahead of course, but still surprised none the less. We toured the colosseum which was very cool. The forum was closed by the time that we were done so we just walked around the city.

Day 2 started out with a tour of Vatican city at 8am. We were SO glad that we pre-purchased tickets online. We only waited about 15 minutes to get in. The Sistine Chapel was amazing! Since our tour was at 8am it wasn't that crowded yet and we were able to sit along the side and look around as long as we wanted. Some of the other parts of the museum were closed which was a bummer, but it allowed time to see other things too.

Dinner that night... Dani stole Larry's beer.

Bored waiting on food. We were HUNGRY!

The pantheon - awesome to see!

The church near our hotel. I am too lazy too look up the name.

Outside St. Peter's Cathedral. We did not go in as the line was over 4 hours long.
