Spring Break in Italy - Day 8&9, Venice

Venice - This was Elle's stop of choice. She really wanted to visit Venice and so we did. It was an interesting city to see but the most expensive in Italy. It's also very crowded with tourists. I'm not sure that I'd go back again.

St. Mark's Cathedral and views from the top of the tower.

The bottom floor of our hotel. In most buildings the first floor is not used due to flooding and humidity. We can in one night and there were no lights on... very creepy walking up the stairs in the dark.

Feeding the pigeons in St. Mark's Square - which is strictly forbidden, but we didn't know at the time.

Our gondola ride through the grand canal at night. They wanted 100 Euro but we talked them down to 60. Even at 60 it's crazy expensive.

Dani in the 2 year old sleeping position.

Dani and Elle bought carnival masks to remember Venice.
